Burlington Teeth Replacement
Do you have missing teeth that need replacement? Or do you have teeth that will have to be soon extracted and you are wondering how they are going to be replaced? Many people come to our dental practice for dental implants. Dental implants are quickly becoming a very popular tooth replacement method because dental implants look, feel, and function just like permanent teeth. If you are interested in
Burlington teeth replacement by dental implants, or by other teeth replacement methods, we hope you will make an appointment to see us at Jersey Dental Group.
At our dental practice, we are very happy to have six expert dentists on staff. Just one of our fine dentists is Dr. Asad Sadiq. Dr. Sadiq trained in implant technology at NYU. When a patient comes to our dental practice wanting dental implants, our dentist will first have to meet with him or her to determine whether or not they are good candidates for the procedure. A good candidate for dental implants will have a jawbone that is healthy and thick enough to successfully hold dental implants. Once this is determined to be the case, our dentist will be able to surgically insert a titanium dental implant root for each tooth that is going to be replaced. Dental implants can also be used to hold bridges securely in place, as well as to hold dental bridges. Once the implant surgery is completed, there is generally a healing time of several months during which time the jawbone will fully heal and the titanium root will completely fuse to the jawbone. At this point, your
Burlington teeth replacement procedure is nearly completed.
Once it is determined that the healing of the jawbone has finished, our dentist will then be able to provide you with a porcelain crown as the upper “tooth” portion of the dental implant. This beautiful porcelain crown will be color-matched to your adjacent teeth so no one will be able to tell you have a dental implant. The porcelain crown will be permanently attached to the dental implant root. Now your dental implant is completed and your smile is fully restored. You will also be able to eat anything you want in total comfort, without fearing that your dental implant will slip or embarrass you in any manner. With regular brushing and flossing, and periodic dental cleanings, your dental implants should last a lifetime. To come in to visit us regarding
