Dr. Cohen spent his youth in Cherry Hill, NJ, where he still resides. He was educated in the Cherry Hill public school system from kindergarten through high school. Dr. Cohen earned his Bachelor of Science from Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA, from 1983 to 1987. He majored in Chemistry and minored in Biology and Mathematics.
Dr. Cohen was delighted to be accepted into the esteemed Temple University School of Dentistry in 1987. During his time there, he was recognized for his achievements in Oral Surgery, Periodontics, and Endodontics. He also pursued community outreach and service. In 1991, Dr. Cohen was commissioned as a lieutenant in the Public Health Service, where he worked nobly in the Federal Prison System in Lake Placid, NY, for two and a half years.
With 33 years of experience in the dental field, Dr. Cohen is proficient in root canal therapy, teeth whitening, extractions, fillings, dentures, crowns and bridges, and implant restorations. He prides himself on providing p and comprehensive care.
Dr. Cohen has been a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Philadelphia County Dental Society, New Jersey Dental Association, and Southern Dental Society.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Cohen enjoys spending time with his wife, Wendi, and their four children, Caylah, Lauryn, Hailey, and Joshua, as well as their two dogs, Savannah and Winston. As empty nesters, they now also cherish their time with their granddaughter, Alana, who lives in Parkville, MD, and eagerly await another grandchild on the way. His hobbies include bowling, computers, and playing softball. Dr. Cohen is proud to follow in the footsteps of his father, Dr. Samuel Cohen, who practiced dentistry for 57 years and served as an inspiration to him.
